The sound 'eer' as in 'beer' is spelt in several different ways in conventional English.
e-speec
uses the spelling 'eer' consistently, as in: cheer, heer (hear, here), feer (fear), feerz (fears), feers (fierce).
Conventional English spelling uses 'oi' for the 'oi' sound in the middle of a word, but 'oy' at the end of a word. e-speec uses the spelling 'oi' consistently, as in: boil, boi (boy, buoy), boiz (boys, buoys).
In a few words the letters 'oi' represent the sound 'o' and the sound 'i' separately - for example,
heroin (heroin, heroine).
e-speec continues the practice of using the spelling 'ng' as in song,
and also 'nc' for the sound 'ngc',
as in inc (ink) and distinct.
